Brian has dedicated his nearly 25-year professional career to serving clients in the Oracle applications security and controls space. Brian specializes in providing business process, application security and internal control design services to global organizations as well as assisting organizations in their evaluation, selection and implementation of the various continuous controls monitoring solutions.

Prior to Appssurance, Brian was in senior management within the Technology and Security Risk Services practice at Ernst & Young. Brian held many leadership positions during his tenure at EY including responsibility for EY’s global Oracle GRC practice. Prior to EY, Brian worked as an applications consultant for Oracle Corporation.

Outside of work Brian is an avid college basketball fan and high school basketball coach. Brian was an assistant men's basketball coach at the University of South Florida during the 1991-1996 seasons. Today, Brian serves as the junior varsity basketball coach at H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, Florida.

Brian holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida. He has passed the CPA exam and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Ramon is the Practice/IT Director for Appssurance, Inc. and serves as the primary liaison with client IT personnel. Ramon is an accomplished information system professional with over 25 years of experience in implementation, configuration and support of Oracle applications and systems spanning multiple industries. Ramon has served various clients as a consultant, performing Oracle implementations in the role of Senior Manager, Senior Principal Consultant, Senior Database Administrator, Project Lead and Architect.

Ramon has implemented many Oracle solutions including Oracle EBS, Oracle GRC, OLAP, Hyperion Planning/HFM, etc. using much of Oracle’s technology stack such as RDBMS (v7 to 19c), OBIEE, Tools (Forms/Reports/Designer/Discoverer/Apex) and Essbase. His superior skills are in the areas of Financial Planning, Data Warehousing and Risk Management.

Ramon holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in Lima, Peru.

Joe has served as the Director of Process and Risk Solutions at Appssurance since 2010 and has spent over 28 years working with world-class organizations to manage risk and compliance, improve processes, and implement internal controls. Joe has led dozens of continuous controls monitoring (CCM) tool implementations using tools from CCM vendors including Oracle, Fastpath and SafePaaS. These implementations have included all aspects of design, build, testing and ongoing management of innovative solutions for user access, transactions, and configuration changes. Joe leads customer trainings and has authored user guides for various risk management platforms.

Prior to Appssurance Joe was a Vice President at a $9 billion public company and was responsible for managing the SOX IT Compliance PMO from initial adoption through full sustainability, as well as the design and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite application security. Previously, Joe spent 12 years with Ernst & Young in the Technology & Security Risk Services practice in Miami, Florida.

Joe holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from the University of Miami, and has held both Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designations.
